This library for KONTAKT is the first to offer the sound of a hompak or Mayan trumpet, one of the oldest wind instruments in history. This pre-Hispanic instrument used by ancient Mexican cultures was mentioned in the book "True History of the Conquest of New Spain" in 1557 by Bernal Díaz where he describes this instrument as long trumpets with hollow sticks that emitted the sound of the Devil.

This instrument is used to create rhythmic patterns similar to contemporary beatbox, however, this library offers a wide variety of uses and sounds to exploit the creativity of anyone who uses it.
